I got bored, and started to build HO scale furniture...

How did you color the furniture ?

I first used a light india ink stain, than I wiped it with 800 grit auto body sanding mesh, than I stained with a variation of the old floquil oak stain that I found on-line from a hooby shop that makes their own, cannot remember off the top of my head what the name was.

Neat. I never think to go back and sand after I stain my wood structures. I like how it turned out.
