Title: CR Lamb
Post by: madharry on October 22, 2016, 08:58:29 AM
Here are updated pictures of my attempt at the Inter-Action Hobbies model of the CR Lamb. Today I fixed the port running light. However my severest critic says IHO that is not as bright as the starboard green light.......... :'(

Thanks Greg, the sternwheeler receives a lot of nice comments when I exhibit the layout at train shows. I give out Rail & Tie's details all the time so I hope that this translates into a few sales for him.

Mile, I like the looks of the Stern Wheeler.

And I think the Green LED is brighter.

Mike,
you have done a really great job on the Lamb. Sorry to hear about the lighting issue. Very rare for an LED to burn out like that! I hope changing it was not too much of an issue.

Keep on chugging!

Thanks so much Jim for siding with the boss! I appreciate it. :o

Darryl - The CR Lamb came out great because it was a great kit, nothing less, nothing more.......thank you. IKB would be proud!  ;D

I'm looking at my free Model Rail Scalescenes fishing boat, 101 steps within the instructions, but I need 2x2mil sheets, 2x1 mil sheets, 2xthin sheets of cardboard .............with all that work it will probably be fairly unique.....so hey ho.

Mike

P.S, The port light was actually a white LED. The only one I had in stock. I dipped it into a red enamel paint and hoped for the best....................chancer!
