Title: Build Challenge 2016 - EXPO 2016 kit
Post by: Vilius on November 29, 2016, 09:17:40 AM
This is a prefect display of my lack of self-discipline. I have a number of kits in the works but instead of finishing them I have started yet another. I just couldn't resist... :-[
While working on it I found that potentially there was one missing window opening. I had 10 windows and 9 window openings. Also the pilot model picture shows 4 second story windows while my wall had three. I measured the distance between existing openings and cut one more.
This is where am at.

I am getting close to finishing it. It seems I might actually do it.

Great great job as usual. The washed out colors are always spot on in your modeling.

You beat me to it John!  I was going to say something very similar.  That's the perfect amount of weathering in my humble opinion.  Well done Vilius!   :D

Very nice work all the way around. I really love the color choices that you pick for you models.

One question though.  What is the backstory with the biker hugging the pole?  Don't get me wrong, I really like it, but I am guessing a story?

I think I have wondered out of a bar or two and wound up kissing the sidewalk...

Thank you, Darryl.

You are right. The biker had one too many and now he is hugging the pole.

BTW, I checked the pictures on my computer and they looked all washed out. Is this how they look to everyone else? They were fine on another that I posted them from.
