Not quite sure where to place this, so best to put this here ...
Toma Model Works from Japan has recently released a beautiful kit of a narrow gauge 0-4-0 Porter locomotive. It's an HOn30 kit with a metal chassis and injection moulded parts for the body.

The good thing is that he also offers a static model with injection moulded parts for both the chassis and body:

... which is of course a great item to be place on a diorama. Something like this for example ...

The kits can be ordered directly from Toma Model Works (http://tomamw.c.ooco.jp/index-e.html#HOn30).
According to the instructions (http://tomamw.c.ooco.jp/0632.pdf), the static kit should not be that difficult to build.
Jeroen....
What a cool little loco.
Thanx for putting up the link.
see ya

J~,
I agree with my much older brother from another mother! 8) Thanx Thom... (the not so cuter one).
Very cool. It looks like it comes to around $162 USD.
Yep, and the static model is about $40 USD.
That's a beauty. It makes me excited to see more HOn30 offerings...it's a tremendous scale/gauge with the same traits that made On30 explode...just a matter of having more equipment available for purchase. If not for Minitrains, I wouldn't have made the jump (that I always wanted to)...this is really encouraging!
thanks for sharing...John
This is a real nice looking model - thanks for sharing it.
