Title: DPM Harlee and Sons Cycle Shop AKA Schwarz Salvage
Post by: Mountaingoatgreg on November 21, 2018, 02:08:40 PM
Although the official start date of the 2019 Winter build challenge is a few months away I wanted to get a good plan for the build. I also have an area picked out and want to make sure the building and other details will fit the scene. This is a pretty common kit, so I want to make it unique enough that is it not immediately recognized. The main thing I plan to do is change up much of the included detail parts for other products. I also plan on doing something different with the roof to make it a bit more unique.

Here is the exterior of the box:

Here is the opened box (I took out the instructions, random pieces of foam and other packing material)

Greg, I'll be following this one. I love seeing variations on these kits.

Hi Greg and welcome to the site. I have this kit on the shelf, tins of castings. I think its the Schulz garage that uses the same garage structure which I did build.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I really look forward to this build and adding it to the scene.

As for Mr. Kleinhart I see him somewhat regularly and I have seen his layout a few times. I make it to Boise every once in awhile but the visits are few and far between.
