An outbuilding from a much larger kit I'm still working on...pix to follow. This is actually supposed to be the office for a brick/coal/cement dealer. I went rogue as I loved the Muddy Paws sign and wanted to use it. Sorry, Jeff...it'll be right in the instructions!
Dave,
Very nicely done and weathered.
Tom ;D
Thanks, Tom. Still learning to go easy on the Pan Pastels. Also need to learn how to properly top off the power box...I just cheated and hid it under the eaves.
A great way to top off the power box pole is to mark a spot on the roof above the pole. Punch/drill a small hole on that mark and insert a like size wire to represent the pole extending through the roof. You can put a bend in the top, add solder to the bend opening and use the soldered tip in the bend as the "cup" for the wires.

Thanks, Tom. Showcase Miniatures provides the top piece but, man it's tiny!
Dave,
I really like the coloring of that wash-o-mat. Not sure why you think you need to go easier with the pan pastels? Maybe you could offer a couple in progress shots next time you use them for coloring siding.
Dave,
Thanks for the info on Showcase Miniatures. Never heard of them but will be getting some of those electrical details.
Weatherhead, is the word I couldn't think of for the "cup".
Tom ;D
That's it, Tom...weatherhead. To be honest I hadn't even thought of it extending through the roof. D'oh!
Thanks, Jerry. Not so much on this one as on this weekend's other build...Skip's Bait and Tackle. I'd course, iPhone color tends to exaggerate...doesn't look as heavy in person.
Great sign.. Great job...
Thanks, Dan.
Tom...definitely check them out. They're a couple out of Alabama. They've got some great kits...released a new one (muffler and brake joint) this week. Jason Jensen's been doing their build. Beautiful work.
Dave,
They do have some great kits and details. Here is the link for others to view.

I really like the one stop fuel.
Tom ;D
Nice build.
Good looking structure. Those are great looking power meter details.
Jeff
Thanks Curt, Jeff. Those power meters have gotten more reactions on my Facebook page than anything. I asked if they'd sell them in sets separate from their air conditioner units. Now you can get them either way. Walter and Debbie at Showcase are great people.
Here's their new release...
Hey David:
Looks cool.
Thanks, Karl. 👍🏻
Your welcome Dave.
Thanks for posting the picture Dave. Super build by Jason. Great looking structure.
Looks very nicely done , you did a nice weathering job with the pan pastels.
No problem, Bob. Anything to help our kit manufacturers.
Thanks, Lynn.👍🏻
Great job on this one, Dave. I like your sense of whimsey with these small structures. Funny how of all your fantastic attention to detail, I like the cat in the window best.

Neat structure and great detailing Dave..... 8)
Thanks much, George and Greg!👍🏻
