Thanks Bob...
It is Behr paint from the Depot. I color Matched Depot buff in a flat color sample. I then give it a couple thin coats of Grimy Black mixed with alcohol. Then finally I do some boards here, and there with ink wash. This time when it was dry I rubbed it with #0000 steel wool to make it look more worn, an to take some of the paint off the bottom edge of the clapboards.
Loren,
That is some especially realistic worn paint on the walls.

I just follow what George says to do, and his methods are generally tried, and true....
Hey Loren,
Great work as always - good to see you back at it. I finally have gotten to my layout recently and, in the process of moving your Brewery and Crocker Bros. builds around, I am once again reminded of your spectacular talent with colors and weathering...they're just perfect! Keep sharing your work.

Loren,
That's some nice modeling. I like how everything blends, how subtle the colors are, and how worn it looks without being derelict.
Very nice Loren. Great coloring and like Jerry said worn but not falling apart!

Made a little progress on the main station. I got the roof, dormer, gutters etc.. done. I am going to start on the platform next. Thanks for taking a look...
Loren...
Very nice Loren.
Wonderful modeling Loren! Love the gutters which we don't see modeled very often.
Class A++ modeling all the way around!
I thought that station looked a little too "simple" for you...I love the addition of the dormer and restroom. Great modeling as always!!

Howdy All,
I made some more progress over the holidays. Yesterday, I scratched a semi replica of the train signal. (as close as it needs to be) It is mainly made of various plastic tube sizes. You can see the painted, and mounted piece on the second picture.
The main platform is complete, as well as the freight platform. The buildings are not glued down yet, and the canopy, is just sitting between the two structures. Today, I will be working on small details, like finials, and such.....
Thanks for taking a look....
Loren...
Loren,
This looks great! Not only is the fit and finish first class, the small details you add like the eave troughs and gable trim really make your structure "pop". Looking forward to seeing this totally complete.
Beautiful job Loren. I especially focused on the platform since I need to build 3 very long ones for my container yard. What I currently have is crap.
Looks great Loren! You really do have a knack of coloring and finishing off the buildings.

Curt,
Thanks for the comment...as you can imagine, the platform is a lot of work...132 boards for the top. lots of cutting, sanding, and dry brushing...but in the end it is worth the effort....

Thanks for the comment. I would rather see it go on a layout, than be wasted sitting in a box in a closet.....
