Title: Polished with walnuts
Post by: NEMMRRC on January 07, 2019, 07:25:49 PM
It's right there in bold print:
Polished with walnuts (https://www.ebay.com/itm/254054947090)

My wife said, "I would have bought it right away had it been polished with Macadamia nuts."

I have a feeling Jimmy will sell a barrel of these castings. Go get you some:

How on earth does one polish a tiny metal casting with a walnut ?????

It should say "walnut shells". The shells are broken into little pieces and are a mild abraisive when put into a tumbler like the ones used to polish rocks.

Its also used as a blasting media for cleaning up metal to give a smooth finish.   I have a container of it for use with my sandblasting cabinet.
