Title: Rail Rest
Post by: eTraxx on March 07, 2019, 07:08:28 AM
I guess I could have posted this in the Scratchbuilding Forum since . well .. it is such. In any case it's a small Diorama too.

Ed,

Nice to see you posting here.  The pallet of tie plates is a nice touch to the rail rests.

A beautiful scene, Ed. Very nice. I also learned something--did not know what a rail rest was. Thanks for the education.  I also looked a bit around your website. Your pump flywheel is more than a model--it is art.

Hey Etraxx:

Very nice scenery. The detail on the pallet looks just great.

Nice.  Some RRs made them out of concrete.  I know the B&M's best, they were installed in sets of 3 and supported 2 rails on their flat tops.
