I've just downloaded another segment where Dave uses Gypsolite to affix plaster rocks to the landform, and I'm trying it out. I got everything too wet, and being impatient I need it all to dry! What is the melting point of blue foam??? Can I put my experiment into the oven at the lowest temp, 170°?

Don't try to dry it to fast it will crack.  Don't ask me how I know that and don't tell Amy I used her hair dryer.  ;) It has been many years since I needed a hair dryer. ::)
