More later.
Jan,
Welcome back! Looks like you are more than half way in the build. I love the wall coloring, looks like an old weathered brick building.
Tom ;D
Hey Jan.....neat looking building.....I'll be looking in. :)
Thanks Tom and GP , glad to have you along.
Looks cool and I'm in.
Looks great Jan will be following

I can't even imagine working on stuff that small. Great start.
Thanks Curt , Rich , Bob , glad to have you along.

Good glasses and lighting help a lot.
My signature on nScale.net "As long as I can model in N-scale, I know I'm not old" , hope I can say that for many years to come.
So I finally did some modeling again.
Did the trim for the roof , built up out of 3 parts of 3 parts each.

Roofing done , tar paper provided in kit.

Side with stucco and bricks.

Roof with first weathering with powders, sprayed it with dullcoat , we'll see what it looks like after , will probably need more weathering because the dullcoat fades a lot of the powders.

Coming along great Jan like all your other builds. Stairs are not that bad just take a little time :)
Oh we have this kit in HO, TT and even Z scale also.

Nice detailing, walls and roof look good. I tried the dull coat on painted paper roof and then hit it with alcohol 10 minutes later, worked good but just have to watch the dull coat doesn't go on too heavy or it gets a big white spot.
Jan, looks really good with a lot of nice features. I like the ragged edge to the roofing paper and the ghostly remains of an old building on the side walls.

Hey Jan:
Looking good buddy.
Karl
Very nice build Jan.
Coming along nicely
Thank you all for the kind words , encouragement is really appreciated. A while back someone was asking if there was a follow up for Monster Models brick walls , well seeing the quality of these in N-scale I think I can safely say that Rich's walls could fill that void, they can only look better in larger scales.
Nice looking build Jan
Well done Jan, I love the brickwork.
Mike ;)

Here is some I just did for a guy in S scale. These are cut on a special hard paper that is .015 think, the one shot had regular on top and aged below. Can do on Basswood or laserboard also in large sheets up o 12 x 16

Thanks Steve and Mike , and you're very welcome Rich , your kits are in the top of N-scale kits.
Very Nice Rich !!!
I really like the aged brick and will have to check this out further !

Jan,
Another nice build my friend. I looks like the typical run down "sleazebag" apartments here in Orlando.

Rich,
Very nice brick. I also like the aged brick look.
Tom ;D
Thanks Tom , appreciate it.
Jan:
Looks just great. I really like the back porches and stair wells.
Karl
Thanks Karl , yes the porches and stairs look great , one reason I'm not using this where I had intended to, the back wouldn't be visible.
Outstanding work as usual Jan! Great kit Rich!
Thanks Darryl, much appreciated.
Finished the building , ready to install on layout , but it doesn't fit where I intended it to be placed , oh well , plenty of space somewhere else.

WOW Jan. The is perfect for a dirty inner city building that was built decades ago. Well done.
Hard to believe that it is N Scale. Masterfully done.
Thank you Bob and Curt , I like it that manufacturers like Rich, Darryl , N-scale Architect , Bar Mills, Downtown Deco to name a few are really turning out great kits in N-scale , giving us more choices and better ones to fill our layouts.
here's my Z scale build. This is after sitting on the dash of the van since January when we moved.

Even smaller , nice Rich.
Well done Jan.....great looking building. 8)
Thank you Greg, much appreciated.
Really nice overall structure, very nice brickwork and signage.
Thank you Lynn.
Hey Rich:
Very nicely done. Love that back wall.
Karl
Jan,
Well done !
Tommy
Thanks Karl

Thanks Tommy
Great job Jan. Particularly the weathering on the bricks and roof. As a former N-scaler, I can really appreciate how it holds up to close photography.
John
Thank you John , greatly appreciated.
