I have built several kits recently. The first is a Downtown Deco Palace Card Room. This is the first time that I have built one of these kits and I liked it very much. All the work is in the finish and I added lighting to it.

Attached are pictures of Associated Oil which is a Campbell Kit.
Hey Steve:
Nicely done. Like the weathering.

Great job , I really like the Downtown Deco build.
Very nice, Steve. The masonry for the Card Room is especially nice. Love the contrasts in the mortar - light color on the front of the building and black where the sign on the side didn't wear away. Very convincing.
Nice work on the structures, Steve.
Jeff

I guess you solved a problem for me , didn't know what to build next , have a few DD's wanting to be built ;D
Great work on both, Steve. I like the job you did in hiding the seams on the Downtown Deco kit. But the finish is also very convincing. The Campbell kit is excellent, too. I particularly like the job you did showing the rust on the storage tanks.
Five stars!

Both structures look really good, Steve.
Cheers, Mark.
Great work Steve. Love the stone work.
Thanks everybody for stopping by and your encouraging comments. I haven't posted anything for a while, and wanted to let you know that I haven't been goofing off. These were fun kits to build. I especially like the Downtown Deco kit. They have a lot of character. All the work is in the finish.
