Howdy all,
Been a while since I have posted a build. Yesterday I delivered a Hazen Boyd for a friend here on the forum. Was a fun kit to build. The only change I made was using Rail Scale Models Shake shingles instead. (I messed up the ones included in the kit) Thanks for taking a look.....
Loren....
What an outstanding build! I can't begin to say enough nice things about it. :D
What a nice, no, great build.
Truly awesome work! I love the color of the building you achieved. Did you use some of the Hunterline washes for that or just George's good old India Ink and alcohol mix?
;D ;D ;D
Outstanding build Loren.
Great job Loren! Looks like excellent!
Loren,
Beautiful modeling !

Bruce,
The underlying colors are hunterline light grey, than rubbed down with 0000 steel wool, than a light brushing of creosote black, and rubbed down again....

I'm the lucky friend that received this wonderful build! Loren "9-fingers" did another great job on this FSM kit. I really love his weathering techniques.

Mark,
Glad that you like it.....just do not ever ask me to make a NEW looking building, do not think it is in my nature......
Great job Loren.....I was going to make mine look like a well maintained facility, but after seeing what you did, I might have to change my mind. 8)

Greg,
