Title: Bachmann On30 0-4-0 kadee conversion
Post by: edfrompa on December 19, 2020, 11:24:53 AM
Older thread this subj discussed using HO couplers (148's) which I have done on several cars.  For the Porter figured out I'd need the longer 146's.  Removing orig couplers found a tiny screw and a 2 step bolster. At a loss to decide how to modify this for the 146's.  Any suggestions most appreciated//Ed

I have no specific experience with this loco.  Could you put up a photo or two that shows the craft box and the coupler you want to use.

See ya

Ed,

Have you tried asking this question on Facebook?  This group is dedicated to On30 and someone there could probably help you.

My apologies gentlemen.  In taking some pics I suddenly saw the easiest and simple solution--Remove screw and draft  box, remove orig coupler, insert Kadee coupler, reassemble.   Previously I was all hung up on using the larger Kadee screw and components.  Anyway, thank you both!!//Ed
