Hello,
Just finished this scratch built diorama (except dynamite shed).
Karl O
Those are incredible Karl. That water tank is something else.
Karl,
Really nice modeling...that water tank is beautiful...
Individual plaster stones and oil washes on the wood ?
Thanks for sharing this build !
Tommy
Incredible work. Really.
Do you have any work in progress shots you could share?
Karl,
Absolutely fantastic work my friend. You really set a quality bar for others to follow. Keep up the great work.
Thanx Thom...
Stunning modeling , but maybe even more stunning photography and editing.
Karl, as always, fantastic work. I really, really enjoy your dioramas. You turn out some of the finest model railroad diorama work I've seen. For me, your subtle sense of humor and quirky eccentric character and scenes are what makes them special.
Looking forward to your next one (no pressure!).

Outstanding dio Karl.....tons of details in a small space and beautiful photography..... 8)
Beautiful diorama Karl. I love that "busy look".
Like the others, I love that water tank too.

Hi George, thanks. I try to have some yuks doing this stuff. Did you notice the top of the pine tree on the right side in the third photo? Seems like Napoleon was tossing ΒΌ" sticks of dynamite in the air for the 4th of July and blew the top off his tree. Also, Tim's employee fell off the back of the turnip truck moving some crates around. Poor fella'.

Hi Tom, Nope, it's from a casting I made from a Bragdon stone wall mold. I cut the 8 walls and angled them to form the octagonal base for the tower. The tower was colored with Blick markers. Karl O

Hi Craig,
I have a few, not really that much to see. When I get to building something, I seldom take in "progress photos"...I just want to get the thing finished!

Hey Karl O:
Looking just great so far..
Karl S
This is a great looking diorama Karl O.
Hey Karl O:
Just went over the photos again. I think you outdid yourself on this build. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Karl S.
I thought Turtle Creek building looked familiar, Model Railroader. Alway admired that building. Now that I've seen an actual model I'm going to have to scratchbuild it one of these days.

Karl
Fantastic work, thank you again for proving it's all about the details.
It all looks amazing but that water tower is the best I have seen ... unreal!
Howdy,
New photo of the freight house...that red car is dangerously close to that engine!!!
Karl O
Beautiful!!!!!
Karl,
What can I say? I have bookmarked so many of your tutorial threads on the "other" forum. Your modeling is simply stunning. I really like when you photo your structures and engines and add smoke effects. Thanks for sharing your work with us!
As always, magnificant! magnifiscent... flipping Awesome!
Hey All:
Yep Karl O is one of the best modelers I know. I always very much enjoy his builds.
