Same ole, same ole here also.
Have a great day ya'll.

Present
Morning all.
Headed to New England to go "leaf peeping" tomorrow. Play nice until I get back next week.
Jeff
Good Morning All,
Today the contractor is coming to get paid and the drywall guy is coming back to nail down the baseboard. His nail gun wasn't working yesterday.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning! Damp start to the day here. A few chores to get done, then hopefully a little train time later.
Good morning.
Does your model railroad have ATC or do they hoop up orders to their trains? The LIRR completed installation on this line and PD tower was taken out of service shortly after (and demolished in August of 2006).
Rainy here this morning but hopeful I can get some outside work at least started. Everyone have a great day!
Brief encounter with the Tooth Doctor or his assistant today and Round Robin Ops tonight.
That's all I've got.
Stay healthy and be careful of those Red and White kamikaze pilots Doctor Jeff.
Morning,
The damp is penetrating the body, I am even considering turning the heat on.
Toppa da murnin' to y'all. Man, I thought old people got up early. Every since I retired I have been sleeping later and later in the morning. Did I miss a memo? Not even my old dog is waking me up to go out.
The Black Hills has a tourist railroad, dubbed "The 1880s Train", that runs from Hill City to Keystone and back (two towns close to Mt Rushmore). My dear wife was desperately trying to get me to get us tickets. But, I like looking at and building model trains and also looking at real trains. I don't like sitting in cramped, wooden coaches for an hour going 10 MPH. Anyway, here are a couple pics of the loco during its stop at the Keystone station (just a few miles from Mt Rushmore). Have a nice day.

Good morning
Curt, I'm not sure about "nailing" drywall. Nail pops are the bane of my existence on wallboard.
Jeff good luck with the New England leafpeeping, it's a bit before peak from what I've seen from the mountains.
Today I'm meeting an old National Guard friend for lunch, lots of catching up after 25 years...

Wonderful detail in that diorama, Jan. I wonder how many parts were scratch built...
Dave maybe I worded it badly. His nail gun is for the baseboard.

I have no idea , but seems to me they are not all kit parts. The structure itself is scratchbuilt , it's in scale 1:35.
Another photo of that diorama , on the left the back of that building.
