Good morning.
Looks like a rain and snow mix for most of the day. That's OK, 'cause I'm hunkered down inside. I had a great turkey dinner and some modeling b.s. with my friend Jim (whiskeyriver) yesterday. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe day!

Good Morning All,
Had a great feast yesterday thanks to the wife. Leaving in a hour to pickup daughter and family at the port. Later I have some ideas about what I want to do with the engine service facility ground cover and will do tests on wood off the layout.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Good Morning Folks;
We had a great Thanksgiving with my brother and his wife. It was good to just catch up. Today our daughter and husband are coming over to stay the night, should be fun. Well off to get house ready. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning! On and off rain w/possible snow showers today will keep me indoors as well, so some modeling will take place.
Good morning! We have snow this morning - I have been informed that I'm making a snow man - my 5 year old grandson informed me that I will go outside and helping because "I'm a kid like them". ;) Great news I have made it. That's it from here - I hope everyone has great day. From the F&SM:

Morning,
Yesterday was a monumental day! We replaced our king bed with a queen bed.which meant shoving the king mattress down three flights of stairs, three doorways and folding the mattress in half to put down on the curb for the garbage trucks.
Whew!
Morning all,
Yesterday was nice and quiet for us.
I'm working on the second half of the Pub Crawl today.
Have a great day.

Morning all,
We had a nice, low key, day yesterday with a great meal courtesy of my better half. We also watched Die Hard. Hans Gruber falling from the Nakatomi Plaza marks the start of the Christmas season. :)
I think today is mine. I may start a small build. One that I hope to be able to finish before the start of the annual Raymo build challenge. That rules out Red Hook Wharf although I'm still making plans for that one. ;)

Have a great one!
Morning from the single cold digits yesterday...
Tommy
A beautiful sunny Florida Thanksgiving yesterday full of food, dogs and mostly grown kids at my brother's home. Today, I spent some time trying to get the bales of dog hair out of my new car's interior. That was followed by dragging all of the boxes or decorations out of the attic, so my bride can direct the reconstruction of the house at her leisure.
I've made some progress on my Sierra West Woodcutter's Shack. I've been pacing myself. Knocking off a step or two when I find a little time and extra energy. I'm pretty consumed with a project at work (actually selling our business, possibly very soon :-X 8) ) that could change my available time AND energy pretty dramatically! I've got a little more carpentry to do and then, I'll no longer be able to avoid the painting of castings. I know once I dive in, it'll be fine and satisfying...it's just one of those daunting tasks until I actually break the ice. I'll post a progress pic in my layout thread (if I can find it buried in the inactive archives) when I have a little something to show.
Have a great weekend!
John
