Post by: ACL1504 on December 04, 2021, 06:41:32 AM
Morning all,

Thank you all for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers. Much appreciated. I'm ready to get it done so the recovery can start and I can get back to modeling. That should be sometime in mid January. No Dr. Jeff, I won't over do it.

Have a great day.

Good morning Tom & all of the sleep-ins.  Will continue to clean up  my work area today, which consists of 2 work benches and 2 small side tables on wheels.  I can't believe in what a state of chaos it had turned into.  This will take longer than I expected.  But for now, I'll start with a cup of coffee.

Morning, all.

Tom, I know you will follow the physicians/nurses/therapists instructions to the letter.  That way you can get back to building your empire the quickest.   ;D Will watch the Hawkeyes later tonight in the Big Ten championship game, though I have little hope they will win.

Good morning.

Spent much of yesterday doing my Christmas shopping.  That's all I have...

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

Curt,

Tom told me what it was but I don't remember. It has something to do with moving coal. The structure was scratch built by Tom W. His layout is very well done. He lives just south of Disney off I-4.

Good morning! I'm trying to get away from all the house chores and get some modeling done. It is not easy this time of the year. Continued thoughts and prayers for those, going in, or recovering from a tune up.  I hope everyone has a great day.  From the F&SM:

Morning all,

Yesterday I ran to one of the local hobby shops, Hobby Town, but was disappointed by their rather laughable model railroad selection.  At least they have tools and paints.  I was able to pick up a few of the airbrush ready Vallejo paints to try.  Hobby Lobby, which is nearby, has the Vallejo paints as well but they're not the airbrush ready ones and their selection is rather limited.

Today's chore is to search for a new dryer.  Our old one decided to suddenly retire last night.   ::)  It's about 18 years old so we got our monies worth out of it.  I imagine I'm going to find that they're out of stock because of the supply chain issues but we're going to give it a shot anyway.

Have a great one!
