Title: Monday, December 27, 2021
Post by: Opa George on December 27, 2021, 07:09:31 AM
My wife is back to work, so we're up early today. I still have another week of vacation, though, and don't have to return till January 3.  Just a haircut and some grocery shopping on the agenda today, then some train time.
Time to make some breakfast.

Have a great day, everyone.

Morning, all.

Thunderstorm and hail last night at 2230.  Weird for this time of year.  Off to work...

Morning,

All I wanted fir Christmas was a few weeks of sun and blue skies. A week ago we had 1 hour of fleeting sunshine and it is getting old being depressed.

Does anyone know about Belgian locomotives?  A friend (who does military miniatures) is looking for some help:

Dave:  I built a mainline double track railroad bridge to cross the Semois river and now need a Belgian locomotive.  I am looking for engineering blueprints or diagrams of the Belgian SNCB's 4-6-2 Type 10 and 2-10-0 Type 36 locomotives.  The-Blueprints.com does not have anything like it.  The Tubize museum might but their website is offline.

I admit to knowing nothing about European railroading...

Today I'll install the brake staff and some other last minute details, and then maybe paint the first B&M boxcar.

Good Morning All,

Have a couple of chores then I'll be double checking the problem area. It appears that the shorting issue is from a Genesis FP7 A unit. It has a bare wire coming out of one of the rear trucks.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning!  Taking a ride with my wife this morning to her favorite fish store to pick up some new tenants for her tank.  I'll get some train time in later this afternoon.  As for Belgian locos, I don't have a clue Dave.

Slow start this morning. Hope to spend a lot of time in the basement today and the balance of the week.
That's my "contribution" for today.
Enjoy whatever you're up to.

Morning all,

Gotta go spray some weeds in the yard and then I'll get back to the FOS Yard Office No 3 build.  Haircut his evening.  Vacations are wonderful.   :)

Morning,
Stay at home weather today...6 inches of snow last night, falling temps to zero and gusts up to 30mph...
Might take the 3 mile ride to the gas station to top it off.

Good Morning Folks;

Another day on our New Year cruise. We are on the second week. Last week we had 1100 passengers, this week 2,400. What a difference. Oh well, I am enjoying a lot of free time to work on CAD for chemical factory project.

Here is a photo of the spring in Green Cove Springs. I worked in the area during the 70's and 80's.
