Title: Friday 07JAN2022
Post by: MAP on January 07, 2022, 05:05:29 AM
Good morning!  I did manage to squeeze in a little train time last night.  A couple of inches of snow fell this morning, with more to come.  I'll get out later this morning to clear it, but first coffee.

Morning all,

The corporate VPN was hosed up yesterday and I couldn't get outside of the company to check in.  Seems to be back to normal today though.  T.G.I.F!  :D

Have a great one!

Morning, all.

We may break zero today in the temperature department, we didn't yesterday.   :o I hope to finish the challenge build today, but we'll see what the day brings.  Probably should take down the Christmas tree.

Good morning.

We got a little snow overnight but the precip falling now feels more like freezing rain.  Roads are less than ideal, lucky for me I have no need to travel.

Pic from Dick Elwell's layout.

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

Howdy,

I've been at it for 2.5 hours already. This working from home means "working the whole time you're home" for me. Not good. I hope to get some quality challenge build time this weekend.

Later.

Good morning!  Well, we are on the top side of 0 this morning but not by much. Those nice big lakes we have around here are stilling keeping us a few degrees warmer. They help until they get frozen over. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Folks;

It was good to hear about Tom. It's cloudy and cool this morning but should be a great day. My only duty is to watch the pups and work on layout. But first coffee.

Good morning,
Checking in from work. School is on a two-hour delay and the kids won't be here for another hour.  My drive in, usually 20 minutes, took 50 today with only one "stuck" incident, but luckily a passing plow cleared the road for me.  At least it's Friday!  ;D

Morning from ice box Minnesota...minus 10 with a minus 24 wind chill today...
Online road report from the sheriff's office this morning says " It's slicker then the snot in Jack Frost's nostrils this morning"
due to the high number of spin outs reported today...tomorrows temps start to climb to normal for a day or so...

Checking late today...........

No bench time today..........Maybe late tonight.

it's Friday................  doing Mexican take out and margaritas.

I got back to the brick house project.  I'm doing the back porch.  All wood sticks and such. Pretty fragile until I get it mounted on the back of the structure.  Kind of like standing up a lace curtain with only starch ! ! ! !

see ya

Jamie,
I heard some guy was going from his bedroom to his home office, tripped, fell, and injured his back. Collected on workman's comp because it was ruled he was injured while commuting to work....just saying.

With my luck I'd trip and knock over my 2022 Build Challenge (http://modelersforum.com/index.php?topic=6176.0) and I have no clue how I could claim that on workman's comp or my home policy....
