This was the last kit I was working on before I stopped. I never released it and had a couple of different versions I was playing around with. This is kit has old Juneco metal cast windows with laser cut front entrance and corbels. I started working on it at Christmas. I want to finish this project and the Delta Mill in the next couple of weeks.
Very nice.
hey Joe:
Nice looking kit. I really like the corbels. good luck on getting it finished.

It looks good - thank you for posting the pictures. I sure miss all the new kit announcements.
This structure would fit in many downtown areas.

Thanks Karl, corbels are tiny little details that go missing on the work bench.

I miss those announcements too but not the late nights getting it ready.
A couple update shots with the side staircase and back addition.
Thanks
Joe
Hey Joe:
You are quite welcome. it's coming along nicely.
Karl
Very nice Joe. I especially like the cornices.
Hi All
I completed all the cedar shakes on the stairwell and added the doors. Finished off all the corbels and added paper corrugated roofing on a few roofs.
Thanks,
Joe
Joe..........
This structure has it all.........
Great corbels, closed side stair well and a roof level access............... Can't wait to see what you might do with the store front and possible signs.........
This is really cool............

Shaping up nicely Joe..... 8)
Excellent Joe
Curt - Very neat structure. I like the contrasting materials on the covered outside entrance/fire escape stairway. Of course, we don't have any of those covered stairways here in Florida because the weather is temperate and, although it frequently rains, true Floridians are used to afternoon showers that come and go.
hey Joe:
More great progress. Keep the pics flowing.

Thanks everyone for the comments and having a look.
A fun and funny feature I wanted to incorporate into this building was a crazy first attempt at fire escape. The history and iterations of fire escapes are actually pretty interesting ... they should would have to hurry to get on the foot bars and hand holds of this building since the building is made of wood, lol. This was a cheap and fast way to build fire escapes but didn't last long ... thankfully.
I found one of my original building to show the completed fire escape. I am in the middle of a large Reno at my house and everything is boxed up and I have no idea where anything is ... I found this while looking for some painters tape. I can't wait to set things back in order and discover all my stuff again.
Slowly, coming together the model and the Reno!
Joe everything looks great.
