Good Morning All,
Hopefully some train time today. Had a possible exposure from youngest grandson so we got tested which ended up being negative but wasted 3 hours.
I hope everyone has a good day.

I don't consider it a waste to learn life is good ;D But yeah, waiting around for hours is no fun.
They are calling for snow later today. Great modeling weather. I've already been gluing stuff together for the last hour or so.
Later.

My 2022 Build Challenge (http://modelersforum.com/index.php?topic=6176.0)
Morning. It's a wee bit cold in these parts this morning, 2 degrees Fahrenheit when I ran out for breakfast. Ma came home yesterday from rehab after being there for a month. It will be nice to come home and not have to run there daily to see her. Other than taking Ma to her hairdressing appointment, I plan on working on my build.
Good morning.
It is a little brisk here this morning, as in below zero temp with negative double digit wind chills. I'm "cow-sitting" for my neighbor and his heifers didn't seem to care about the cold though my fingers especially felt the chill while I was feeding and watering them. I'll be staying inside today where it is warm except for a quick trip out for afternoon chores. Some modeling is on the agenda for my inside time with a little playoff football on the side.
Everyone have a safe and productive day.

Does "cow sitting" beat "cow tipping"?

Good morning! Coffee is on - we are going into another cold spell here, too. I'm planning on riding it out at my workbench, today. I have a lot of thread posts to catch up on, today. I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning, all.
I have the weekend off. Wonderful ride home from work yesterday in the blizzard conditions. My usual route blocked by two jackknifed semis, so I had to drive thru Cedar Rapids to get to the interstate. Took 70 minutes instead of the usual 40. I plan to work on the build project today and watch playoff football, though I don't have high hopes for the Patriots coming out victorious.

I guess that depends mostly on the cow. ;D

Some photos from our trip to Rome: http://davebert.photos/rome2022 Sorry for the spelling errors in the captions, I need to go back and fix those.
NMRA Zoom meet this morning, I'm talking about the bulk build of B&M boxcars.

Morning all,
How much do you usually tip a cow? 10%? 20%? Just curious. :P
I'm going to sit down at the workbench this afternoon to see if I can get some momentum back. Need to wrap up a build thread so I can get to work on the build challenge.

Have a great one!
Morning,
Bitter cold in the -21C range last night, now all we need is a heavy snow fall ... oh yea, forecast for later. Back to bed.

Here in NW PA at noon, it's 8 degrees with a -2 windchill. Sunday into Monday 8 - 16 inches of the white stuff.
Good Morning Everyone, or good afternoon I should say. Nice day here in FL, I have garage door open. After taking pups out and three cups of coffee I put a top end creeper together. These are creepers used normally when working over a car or truck engine. I am going to use it to get to the hard parts of my layout and the museum layout I work on.
This afternoon maybe some bench time after yard work. Hope everyone is well.

Afternoon check in today...
Was very cold early today but will warm up to 15 with sunny skies.
Dave mentioned some B&M cars on a zoom call, was invited as a guest to see those 3 different clinics and the layout tour this morning.
Call worked great, we had no camera or mike connected to start with but after the first clinic ended, the audio went away and just had the video only here.
It was a test of the new internet Starlink satellite connection on the farm here in Minnesota to Maine on a long distance Zoom call.
Think the problem was browser related but time will tell...sometimes you come up a little short.
Tommy
Tommy, I'll be happy to call you and give a personalized talk :-)
