Title: Monday January 24, 2021
Post by: Jim Donovan on January 24, 2022, 06:27:21 AM
Good Morning,

Well my Bucs lost so football season is over for Tampa. It was a great ending and fun to watch.

Too cold to work outside today so plan on train time. Coffee first. Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all,

Some interesting football games over the weekend for sure.  Lot's of nail biters.

I started by challenge build yesterday.  Haven't started the thread yet though.  That'll be next once I resize and upload the pictures.

Morning all.

Those were certainly some great playoff games.  Hair cut on tap for today.

Good morning! We have snow falling this morning. I'm in the middle of the big workbench clean this morning - getting ready for challenge build number 2.  I hope everyone has a great day  From the F&SM:

Good morning.

Single digit start this morning to a flat out cold week where the forecast temps never reach freezing.  Brr.  I'm with Jim D, too cold to work outside.  ;D

Still waiting for the switch I ordered, it has been sitting in a USPS mail facility 75 miles from my house for the last five days.  Could today be the big day when it arrives in my mailbox?   ???

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

Mornin' all.....

Errands in the morning and bench time this afternoon.     The water tower that John has been working on prompted me to go back and redo the base of an old Miur Models tank where the tank was cool and well thought out but the base was funky.

I'm doing it with that same brick material that I used on my Chicago house build.  It's not an easy material but it looks great.

I'll put up some photos when I get a bit closer.

For now.................   have a great day.....

see ya

Morning,
Just been busy at the candy shop ...
Brutal cold temps coming this week here in Minnesota...minus thirty to minus 50...yikes...
Can't wait till spring. Here's a photo of the old Oak Park CNW station.

Howdy,

Life has a way to interrupt when things are moving along. However, nothing will interrupt my trip to the Big E this weekend.... Say hello if you end up going. I'll be the guy enjoying the show not spending any money. The last couple of times I've been I just didn't find anything I could not live without. But, they say there is an open house at the F&SM to that alone is worth the trip.

It'll be hard to see you behind a mask.  Maybe you should wear a special hat :-)
