Title: Monday the 31st of January in 2022
Post by: NEMMRRC on January 31, 2022, 05:20:38 AM
Howdy.

Springfield was great. I found lots of bargains. I survived the bomb cyclone blizzard snow snowstorm. I was urged to do doughnuts on the Big E parking lot but I declined. Maybe next time around I'll spin on the snow.

Have a great day folks.

Later.

Jaime

Morning. Left Springfield at 6:15 yesterday and arrived home at 8:30. Immediately started cleaning up the driveway and finished about 11. The rest of the day was napping and watching football. When you get a second Jaime, maybe you can show off your Jordan booty..

Good morning.

Single digit start to the day, but warmer weather is on the way later in the week.  Of course, it will be gone by the weekend as we go back to the reality of winter.

Here's a pic I posted on one of my Facebook groups, thought I'd share it here.  I'm starting a new modeling project later, assuming the stars align...

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

Morning, all.

Off today after working the weekend.  Need to call the plumber as the kitchen sink has a clog somewhere beyond the traps.  Dishwasher ran over and I noticed it raining on the layout, fortunately only on a styrofoam area.

Morning All and Happy Monday from frigid Florida (I don't expect much sympathy  ;) ).

Jerry, those trucks are great...I'd forgotten Woodland Scenics had those white metal kits...I used to enjoy their mini-scenes and those trucks might really work for my layout.

Have a great day and stay warm. Haven't talked to my Northern family yet today...I assume my Mom's home on Cape Cod is buried in snow. Heading up for a visit in Feb. maybe one of you can do something about the weather before I get there.

Good morning folks

It sounds like if you could make it to Springfield, there were bargains to be had.

Woke up to a cold (for FL) start of the day. I've been working my way through the electronics of my current project. Took me some time but with Goggle and YouTube help I figured it out. So today scenery and detailing begins.

Have a great day

Good Morning All,

Yesterday I managed to slam my elbow into the end piece of fascia. Of course I had a older Athearn F7 in that hand dropping it to the floor. It now has a suspicious rattle. Guess what my next project is after the freight house? At least it wasn't one of my Genesis units.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Shocked to see you failed to deliver the donuts!

Good morning! It looks like it will be our turn for the snow this week - at least the weather man thinks so - there is gas in the tractor.  ;)  It's good to hear that our train show travelers made it back home with all their bargains. Maybe next year.  I hope everyone has a great day.

The prices listed on the boxes is what I paid. I think there are a few more I found that were already packed.

Good morning, all. Low 30s in Chicago today. Low 40s tomorrow, then potentially a bunch of snow on Wednesday. Sheesh.

Morning all.

Currently sat in an empty house, having packed our lives away into a container on Thursday.

We've got another 10 days until our flight, so it's going to be interesting!

I had to cancel my entire trip out to Peabody/Springfield due to timing (and COVID concerns). Seems like mother nature put the final nail in the coffin anyway -- not to mention seeing many of the manufacturers dropping out like flies.

Work to do this week, but I'm designing a lot of 3D parts for the first kit!

Hope everyone has a great week.

Sadly no. But, I found a $15 Mainline and Siding Coal Tipple with the Jordan truck STILL in the box 😁

Tom Boyd referenced the Jordan bus kit. I've built one of those buses already. Fun fun.
