Title: Friday, start of a long weekend (in the US)
Post by: deemery on January 12, 2024, 09:14:06 AM
I'll open for a change.  Weather here (SE NH) is sunny and seasonal, temps around freezing.  Tonight we get snow changing to rain, with more than 1" of rain predicted.  (I wish it was all snow, but I know that's not everyone's view.)

The house cleaners are here now, so I sit with the dogs to keep them from pestering the cleaners.  They're happy to see the dogs, one told me "Seeing everyone's pets is the best part of the job," but they don't need ankle biters following them around.

I got a survey from UModel, the site that will produce a 3D custom figure.  I suggested they also do custom dogs.

Morning all.

Dave, you can have all our snow.  It's snowing again this morning.  It will last all day.  This on top of the probably 18 or so inches already sitting out there.  I'm sure I'll be going out several times today to clear it.   :P

Otherwise some layout work today, maybe look for a new kit to build as well.  Or just be lazy.  8)

Good morning Dave & Jeff (and everyone arriving later).  I'll steer clear of the great rain vs. snow debate.  I think it might rival the great nail impressions debate...

Dave,
From the photo you posted yesterday I can really see that brick building coming together.  All those "fiddly bits" are what make it stand out!

There's a yellow thing in a blue sky here today...  I think it might be the sun, not sure because it has been so long since I have seen it. I'm contemplating some type of road trip before the forecast storm and accompanying frigid temps arrive tonight. Not sure where I might go...

I hope everyone has a safe and productive day!

Afternoon everyone

A sunny day here in South Jersey.  Right around 50.
I'm with Dave on that one I wish it was going to be snow this week instead of more rain.
Jersey can't take much more flooding!!!

Work continues on my latest endeavor.
I might even like this one and finish it.

Everyone have a great day!!  ;D

Cloudy today, but we may get snow tonight.
Took down the outdoor Christmas lights, something I didn't want to do during those rainy days we had.
Will be spending tomorrow at the roundhouse...

Late afternoon all,

Been running around most of the day. No modeling for me.

Neat video Greg.  ;D

Hope you all had or having a safe and healthy day.

Good Afternoon,

I spent almost 3 hours working on the kit and made a lot of progress. Since I'm going to Tom's tomorrow I won't do anything on the kit.

I hope everyone has a good night.
