Hi All:
Here's the next project. Here's a photo of the contents of the box.
Karl
Where are the final photos, don't you have this done yet? ;D
I've got this one (unbuilt). This thread will replace the instructions for me. Thanks Karl!
John
Hi Greg & John:
Thanks.
I have the tank frame almost done. Three more boards to glue on.
John:
Be care with the tank frame. 2 of the bents have to built in reverse to get the diagonals in the right place. In other words the horizontal and diagonals have to be put on the template first. Study drawing H.
Here's a photo.

Hi All:
here's a progress photo. Black paint is out. My tender is Floquil Zinc Chromate Primer. Here's a photo.
Karl
Hi All:
Tank is added. weathering is done. A&I, Dry-brushing and rust powders added.
Here's a photo.
Karl
Hi All:
Tank is finished. It's a crappy workbench photo will take better ones later. Hope to finish tomorrow.
Karl
Hi Karl,
Looking good. I would add some NBW's as it looks a bit naked without them. It looks very similar to the one that I did an article for many years ago in Light Iron Digest. That was based on a model from one of Dave Revelia's dioramas.
Frank
Hi Frank:
Thanks. I agree about the NBW's. However they aren't in the kit so I can't put any on as this is for the Bar Mills diorama. I finished it up just a few minutes ago. I will post final photos in next post.
Karl
Hi All:
I finished the model today. Here are the final photos.
The Fuel tank:----Tender is Floquil Zinc Chromate Primer, A&I wash, dry-brushed with D&H gray. Then the rust powder was added.
The bents are light A&I wash, dry-brushed with D&H gray with rust powder added.
The shack:-----I used Americana Neutral Gray as a base coat. (Karl O. sent me about 8 base color paints). I will be trying them out in different ways. Then applied Polyscale Reefer White. Then light A&I wash. Then dry-brushed with more Reefer White.
The fence is A&I wash with a few coats of dry-brushed Reefer White. No signs or weathering. I will leave that up to Artie.
Gas pump:-----Polyscale Reefer Orange, Reefer White, Silver and Black dry-brushed with D&H Gray.
Here's photos:
