Title: Thursday - February 22, 2024
Post by: ReadingBob on February 22, 2024, 07:21:10 AM
Morning all,

Last day of the work week for me.  Three-day weekend on tap.

I need to figure out the measurements for the base of the land portion of Red Hook Wharf and then cut some plywood and homosote for it.  Think I'll do that tomorrow while the better half is at work (her car won't be in the garage).  The concrete pad, with track embedded in it, will be an interesting challenge.  I have some ideas as to how I'm going to accomplish that.  Hope they work!

Have a great one!

Good morning.

Forecast is calling for a rainy day, and checking the NWS radar it looks like it'll be here sooner than later.  Seems like it will be a good chance to prove I do know enough to come in out of the rain.  Not sure who I'm proving it to...

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning All,

Starting out today at 45F and clear. I have chores then driving MOH around this afternoon.

Tomorrow Dad leaves for 3 weeks visiting family up North.

Bob I watched a video years ago where a Brit modeler boxed in the area as a temp dam then used dry wall mud over everything. He then took  a rail car truck to make the grooves needed next to the rails.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Noticed something moving on the deck railing in my peripheral vision just now. Turned to see a well-fed robin hopping along the rail. Perhaps Phil was correct and we're getting an early Spring. Guess the convertible needs to go to the car wash soon. It needs it anyway.
Enjoy whatever you're up to today.
