Morning all.
Back from our trip to Oshkosh. Two great days at the airshow, but even with my working up on the walking, my legs and feet hurt after the first day, and then we went back the next with the grand kids. Today will be another recovery day, but I need to mow later as well.
I'll bore you with my vacation photos. This is a P-51 Mustang tribute plane to Robin Olds, a triple ace from WW2, who died in May at age 102. He was a regular at Oshkosh, talking about his flying days.

There's a good biography of Robin Olds: https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-Pilot-Memoirs-Legendary-Robin/dp/0312569513 He really epitomizes what the Air Force wants to think of itself. Definitely NOT an 'institutionalist' :-)
I've been working on cobblestone streets and sidewalks, pictures maybe later today.

Good morning.
Jeff, cool photo, and the plane is a nice tribute to a special man. Looks like I need to follow Dave's link and learn more about him.
I made a trip to a RRHS open house yesterday, as well as chasing down and photographing a station on the defunct Unadilla Valley Railroad that had been moved to a public park and restored. When I got home I helped my neighbors unload some hay they had baled. They have more to bale today, and I offered to help them again this afternoon.
I hope everyone has a safe and rewarding day!
Morning all,
Welcome back, Jeff. Great picture!
Not much on the agenda today. Think I'll lay low and stay indoors given it looks like we're in for some storms. Guess that means spending time at the workbench.

Morning all,
Two great photos today. Thanks Jeff and Bob.
I'm working on the Bookertown barn. Not much is going on.
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon;
Still on nurse duty but the patient is starting to feel better. Deb was able to sleep last night for the most part and pain levels reduced a lot today, so progress is being made. Not much time for anything else at this point so hope everyone enjoys the day.
thanks for the photos Jeff and Bob
Jim
Glad to hear it, Jim!
