Morning all,
Did my walk first thing this morning. Then spent some time reading a book, "Code Talkers", my brother lent me. Interesting book about the Navajo Code Talkers in the Pacific during WWII. After lunch I think I'll hit the workbench for a spell.
Here's an old picture, most likely taken during my college days back in the late 70's, around the Enola Yard.

Have a great one!
Morning all.....
Good afternoon!
My how time flies when you're having fun!!
I've started on the bents that will go under the railroad trestle bridge and the adjacent coaling dock.

First I drew the plans, then I cut the pieces to construct 1 bent. I cut an extra of each piece and labeled it, to use as a 'reference piece' to reset my wood chopper/mitre. I'll construct the bent tomorrow, check it out underneath the coaling trestle, and adjust as necessary. Then I'll build a jig to hold the pieces for construction, and start the production cutting of pieces.
