Morning all,
Another regular work day for me. Yesterday my manager informed us we should all take a couple days off by the end of September as 'comp' time for all the extra hours we put in during June/July/August. So that was nice.
Drywall finishing crew made another pass. I think all they have left is to sand. And then the priming/painting will be done.

Morning all.....
Morning all,
Nothing new here. Just another day in the hood.
Have a great day ya'll.
Tom
Morning all.
I have a four day weekend. ;D Unlike Doug's nice management, ours is eliminating scheduled visits per hour. The staff is no longer to ask if they'd like to come back later (when maybe we've caught up) and just let them stack up in the waiting room. This and a new law from our idiot governor where kids only get 6 absences a year or they are "truant" means every kid with a snotty nose will be coming in for a note. Then they wonder why the patients are mad they have to wait and the staff gets burned out.
Hope to work on the layout road over the weekend.
Jeff
Jeff...have you been exposed to the term "revenue generators"?...we're no longer patients or even customers...we're referred to as revenue generators

The trestle bents are individually sanded to fit under the bridge:

I used my Logan Framing Sander to sand down the bottom of the mud sills, and used the square to make sure top and bottom were parallel. That sander is expensive, but it does work well.

I need to figure out what I'll do at the two abutments, and then start on the truss bridge in the middle.

Afternoon all,
No workbench time the last two days. I thought retirement would help on that front.
Trestles looks good Dave!
Have a great one!
