Great News Folks! No political ads after today!! Well, at least for a while.

So good morning and hope everyone is well. We are back from our cruise in Caribbean and I am looking forward to getting back into my everyday 'stuff'. I am working with Craig to finalize the Winter Challenge so expect big news soon.

Have a great day.

The voting may soon be over, but then comes the shouting...Oh, well

Morning everyone. Saw this ad online. what's neat is that I've seen the real loco carrying this bicentennial scheme on the branch line near my house. I'm very tempted...

A little bit of much needed rain to start the warm day.  Wife and I will go 'renew our license to bitch' later this afternoon.  In the meantime, I'll do some more pick-up/put-away and ponder what to tackle next on the layout.  Tomorrow I get evaluated for cataract surgery, the problem is 4 weeks between the eyes, and I'm not sure I could "tolerate" being half-sighted for that long.

Good afternoon.

Beautiful day here today, the sun broke through the clouds around mid-morning and right now we're in the mid-60's.  I ran some errands this morning, picked up some rattle cans of both gloss and matte finishes for my freight car projects.  I also used a coupon to buy a new pair of flush cutting pliers from Harbor Freight.  I searched for some "medium" green spray paint to use on some trees for my layout, but struck out.  Guess I need to explore some atypical (at least for me) options like Ace Hardware.

I voted this morning but didn't get an "I voted" sticker.  Turnout seemed a little heavier than I had expected, but they consolidated my voting district with an adjacent one, so maybe that was the difference in the line to vote.

I hope everyone has a safe and sunny day!

Hi Dave;

I had the surgery done a couple of years ago and the Wait between eyes was two hours, just enough time to make sure nothing went wrong with first eye surgery.

This Dr's standard is 4 weeks.  I hope I can talk him down to 2 weeks...  I'll find out tomorrow.
