A late morning for opening....
Been very busy with real work this week. Yesterday I found out my position will survive the merger/acquisition which is scheduled to close in mid Dec. Happy about that. I just need to make it another 3 years or so before I can retire.
It was very windy and rainy overnight. Ugly gray day here today.

Good Morning Doug and all who follow;
It might be a cloudy day there Doug but I love the picture. What a beautiful view you have. I hope to get some bench time in today after completing house clean up chores. The wife talked me into a swimming pool so that starts apparently at end of month. Otherwise just another day in paradise here today. Sat on back porch and enjoyed my coffee now time to get moving.

A pool is a hole in the ground you pour money into ???
The dogs are at the groomers, so the house is unnaturally quiet. Since I'm not getting cataract surgery, I'll go to the optician and order new lenses. Current ones are pretty badly scratched up. Earlier this week I did some quick projects for building interiors, but now I need to figure out what to tackle next (besides pick-up/put-away, train room is a huge mess!)

Morning all,
Nothing new here. We are going to visit a friend in rehab. He fell and busted his right knee.
Have a great day everyone.

Not much going on yet in Reading country.
See ya' on the flip side.
Morning all,
Doug - glad to hear your position will survive the merger. I lost track of how many times the last company I worked for changed hands/names during my tenure there. It's nerve wracking.
Just pondering whether or not I should leave the house and pick up a few things at various stores or hit the workbench. I may have to flip a coin to decide. :P
Have a great one!
Morning all.....
