Title: Improvised military bunk beds
Post by: A Man in scale on January 29, 2025, 03:32:23 PM
These are the two bunk beds i have made for an diorama. Please tell me which one should i use. And of course some constructive feedback if needed.

Thanks

Left, definitely.  But what I remember are the 'metal racks' in the WWII barracks we stayed in as a cadet in the mid 1970s.

I agree with Dave, the one on the left is what I'd use.

Dave's right.  I've seen metal bunks in US Army barracks on three continents.

If you want military bunks, they are most times metal.
I would use styrene strips to make these.  A much neater finish for metal.

Can't disagree with any of the above. Try them in styrene and you'll definitely see and like the difference.
