Good Morning,
For breakfast is coffee, cereal, milk, OJ and soda.
Today after chores will be train room time. Events have prevented getting there the last 2 days.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning all, it's going to be another beautiful day here in the Sonoran Desert- we're supposed to get into the mid 70's today and maybe hit 80 tomorrow. It's been great seeing all of the new faces here on the forum. The Railroad Lines Forum's loss is our gain. Welcome to all who want to join into the fun. I'm definitely enjoying all of the great modeling being shared.
Morning all,
Thanks for breakfast but I had some in the Geezer's Lounge.
Today I'm doing chores I couldn't do the past six weeks. I now have approval to work in the yard, bowl and other 1:1 stuff.
Have a wonderful day ya'll.
Tom
Morning,
Jeff thank you and glad you're enjoying the modeling.
The fact that we were welcomed here with "open arms" speaks
volumes about this forum.
Since I'm sitting @ 0 degrees this am in New York, maybe
send some of that Arizona heat my way.
Curt & Tom good morning again.
Morning all.....
Good morning everyone,
Today I get to a grocery run, give Gracie (our dog) a bath, visit my Grandson (it's his birthday today), then visit my mom.
I might make it to the train room this evening.
Current temperature here is -21c (-6f), I would say it's a tad cold here in the Great White North.
Have a great day everyone.
Good morning everyone.
Borrego Springs weather: Sunny with temps in the mid to upper 80's.
Going to do a little off roading today.
Hope everyone in those colder climates stay inside, keep warm and maybe do some modeling.
All you southerners keep cool.
Have a great day everyone.
Morning,
We went to Ikea yesterday, boy it was busy. My back is sore from "helping" my daughter assemble a table.
240 with heavy wet snow and 14 mph wind feels like 100 here in the mitten state. It looks like well over an inch of new snow and grey as can be. Really quite fugly to say the least. No chance of the ground hog even looking for his shadow here this morning. We'd not expected this. :-\
We made a trip to town yesterday. We're stocked up for the day so no trips needed, for sure.
Feels like a layout or bench day here.
Working the pic thing out, need to work on sizing.
Be well all, KarlSintheMitten
Cold start to the day, it got down to -4 (upstairs) -6 (downstairs) thermostat, and was -1 when I took the dogs out. Both of them got 'cold paws' where some snow gets trapped in their pads and they start limping and whining. Fortunately, that was after they did their business.
Punxatawney Phil saw his shadow, so it's 6 more weeks of winter.
Yesterday I discovered there's a floor underneath all the junk that was spread out across the train room. Today I'll do a bit more pick-up/put-away, and consider the next sub-project in the Lamson build. Or I'll dig out one of the wood passenger car kits I got from eBay...

The boss says laundry and grocery shopping in the 1:1 scale world will come first, or the 1/87 world will become landfill real soon.
At least I found an old box of Cheerios to munch on for breakfast. Had I went shopping yesterday like I was supposed to, I'd have milk for the Cheerios. Oh well.
Fifth Dave to the right.
Morning all,
Well, it's Ground Hog Day. Again. ;D
Got out morning grocery store run in already. I don't plan on leaving the house the rest of the day. Workbench time, I hope, this afternoon. I've been in a major slump the last week or two and need to break out of it.
Have a great one!
Good morning all. I'm ready for my third cup of coffee. I need something to get me off my butt and out to the workbench. The first thing I'm going to do is to put everything back where it belongs. Right now I only have a 6" square space available, not enough room to modify and paint some little people.

Let's not assume everyone here is male. Previous forums and other forums have had some very good active female modelers, and we'd want them to be welcome here, too.

Good Morning Folks;
It is great to see so many old and new faces on-line. I want to remind everyone that we have a contest underway with prizes or the top three winners. Check out the 2024 Winter Challenge Area for details. Contest goes until March 23 so plenty of time to enter.

Mornin,' All!
24, feels like 15 and decorated with off-and-on periods of White Gifts From Above here in the northern mitten today. Looks like a good day to find the bench and go to work on HoJo's, so the LPs have a place to dine....
Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good morning folks,
Wishing everyone a great day.
Have fun,

Good morning.
The weather forecast was for a below zero overnight temperature. it only got down to three above zero. I am so disappointed... We're in the low teens now, about half way to our forecast high in the twenties.
I've been working on a few projects, switching back and forth as I wait for paint or glue to cure. I put the final coat of paint on the caboose sides yesterday, repainted the underframe for it as well as a boxcar underframe. I also worked on decaling a boxcar using individual letters as no one makes a decal set for that car.
I hope everyone has a safe, warm, and fulfilling day!
Good morning, all. About 20 miles S of Dave E., we're on the way from -2F to +28F tonight. Sunny now, but clouds expected with a little snow overnight. If it actually reaches 40F tomorrow as forecast, the driveways will only need a lick & a promise. Too cold to airbrush dull varnish and basic weathering today, but maybe tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm going to finish fixing my 28 Winter St. thread, then shut off the computers and switch to modeling.
Bad news for those (like me) that don't like the cold. :(

Morning from Minnesota...overcast now with 1 to 3 inches of snow coming today. Welcome to all the new faces and if any have an issue logging in and seeing the word "error" at times, just accept the terms again in the
"sign up " area and then your user name will show again back in the " log in ". Happens here every once in a while so now you know how to fix it if it happens to you...Tommy
It's still morning in Wisconsin at 11:45am. 1-2" of the White Gifts from Above (WGFA)is what the weather lady says we got overnight but when I ventured out this morning it is more like a 1/2" and the streets without help are melted.
Did an operating session about 90 minutes north yesterday. A great layout and 18 of us were kept busy having fun for hours! A few pictures all depending on sizing
