A fine morning to youse guys! :-[
340 and fogggggg... :o with a mixed bag of who the heck knows, weather icon has a sliver of sun, a cloud with mixed bag of falling schmutz of what ever for most of the day. ::)
Got a big pot of W. Michigan custom grind maple tinged coffee in the big enamel pot sitting on the pot belly, taking the chill out of the air. Tea water is hot and we have green and Grey, Earl, that is..tea bags. Buckwheat has some pancakes, Dey's bein' OH-tay! Some of that maple syrup, first run from yesterday. Looking like a good year for syrup! Eggs are under lock and key, the sausage is ready and there is gravy for the big biscuits. Grits on the back burner, too. Diet Pepsi for the purple Gang and Diet Coke and DocP for us in Yankee country.
Been some slow work going on here with the layout, probably more today. No plans have been even contemplated yet.
Have a fine day one and all. Stay warm, cool, dry and safe... ;)

Good morning everyone.
It's low 40's now in Sequoia NP and mid 50's later.
Karl, thanks for the second cup and hope you make good progress on the layout.
Did a short hike yesterday seeing the massive sequoia's and have another hike planned for today.
Have a great day everyone.
Thanks for opening Karl and yep, a frosty cold diet Dr Pepper for me. Only mid 40's today down from the 50's the last 4 days in So. Central Wisconsin. The snow cover is gone with just parking lot piles and shaded north slopes, like my front yard. Ugly dormant brown grass is showing.
No op or work session nor a breakfast out today. Terry has a physical to get approval for her cataract surgery next week. I'm doing the chauffeuring this morning.
Enjoy the day

Morning Karl, Rick and others drifting in,
Thanks for breakfast Karl, I'll have the biscuits and gravy. Eggs under lock and key and I'm guessing you are signal 0 as well. Diet Pepsi is perfect with breakfast.
Pam wants to practice bowling and I want to work on the flat iron. I won't win this one. Build thread update later this afternoon.
Rick, I forgot to mention the Geezer's Lounge that the Sequoia picture was great. Looks cold there as well.
Have a great day ya'll.
Tom
The remaining parts for the Ambroid car arrived yesterday, so I guess I'll have to knuckle down and finish it. Today I'll work on (hopefully complete) the undercarriage, including truss rods and brake gear.
Light snow turning to rain later, a good day to stay inside.

Morning all.....
Good morning from sunny Tidewater Virginia. Yesterday, we had an interesting walk on a trail around a golf course in Hampton. We saw military technology separated by over 150 years. The trail is under final approach to Langley AFB and a bunch of F-22 were returning from a training mission. Along the trail, for more than a mile, it follows Civil War earth works from the Peninsula Campaign. They run north-south, so I have no idea which side dug them.
Morning all.
Grey and 40 degrees (F) here.
Hope to apply the corrugated metal roofing today to the FSM kit. Otherwise no plans for today.
The F 22 is awesome, I always look forward to it having a demo flight at Oshkosh.
Jeff
Morning all,
Somewhat cloudy here today but it may reach 80 this afternoon. I already got my 2 1/2 mile walk in. Think I'll do a quick chore before running out for lunch. Workbench time later on this afternoon. I need to start working on the roofs for the soap company flat. Two are rolled roofing and two are corrugated metal. They're small though.
Have a great one!

You tell me :o
Good afternoon, All!
Apparently Karl has decided to share with the world... That's what's outside the window here in the northern mitten as well. 38, feels like 30, rain and snow showers for the rest of the day and well... yuck! That's better than snow, though, as we've had all I need for the season in that regard. More due in eleven minutes.... Bleah! 🤢
Op Session last night got me home well after midnight, and I still have tax work to do, so I guess I need to get on that. Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good afternoon (by a bit) from the lower Merrimack Valley. There's been several kinds of precipitation this morning, but only a little bit of each. Today has been chores, including getting two eggs from our chickens. Also launching my campaign for selectman. Probably layout work this afternoon and evening.
Good Morning;
Great photos, makes you wonder what those in the trenches would have thought if they looked up and saw briefly the F22 flying over them and then back to their own war.
It is nice here today, actually really nice. I did my daily stock trades this morning and had a better then average day. I've learned to stop at 10:30am win, lose or draw as it rarely gets better after that either way. Trust me it was a very painful lesson to learn.
I am also learning that when you start on the electric part of a build either finish it or make good notes as to where you were. Having a hard time getting back into finishing what I started yesterday but finish it I will, time to light things up. Picture of current progress shown below, hopefully next one has all lights working.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Lights are working. May add a couple near entrance doors but done for now. Progress!

Jim,
That is one massive complex. Well done.

Nice job with the lights, Jim.
