Good morning and the coffee pot's ready. Assorted danish to go along with your morning brew.

Wow...it hit 70 yesterday in New York; not bad for the middle of March. Today only 43 but I'll gladly take it.

Have a great day!!

Congratulations or condolences, as appropriate, to James for his re-election to Selectman.  After my time on the city's Heritage Commission, I realized I don't have the patience or people skills for that kind of civic engagement.

It's a lot cooler here than yesterday, but sunny.  I did get the ethernet cable run from the basement to the home office, today the crimper for the connectors arrives.  There's 2 ways to do ethernet cable connectors.  I'll try the most common way on the running end, and then test to see if that's the same way the existing connector on the other end is wired.  If not, I'll cut that one off and redo it, too.  Once I get that right, I'll finish running the wire underneath the siding.  In the meantime, a second roofer is coming for an estimate today.  This guy will probably be a bit more expensive, but does more stuff for his price.  Since both bidders have done work here (and we're the last roof to be replaced), I have confidence either one will work out.  My friend in Idaho is still working on selecting a contractor for his retirement home, part of the problem is no one knows how to bid/do estimates due to the tariff impacts on things like lumber.  sigh...

Great photo of Rick and Star!

Yesterday I was thinking a bit about some of the people from Railroad-Line who haven't moved over here.  I miss Louis and Sgt Bob, in particular.

Morning all.

Another nice day here, high to 67.  Monday we broke 70 and I managed to pick up sticks and tree debris in the yard.

Not much going on kit wise.  Between my appointments and my wife's PT (and hair cut today),  too much outside activities.

Good morning from sunny Tidewater Virginia.  I have a pile of branches to load into my pickup and haul to the dump.  I like our wooded lot since there isn't a lot of grass to cut, but the wooded area needs maintenance.

Nice picture, Rick.  Thats a beautiful setting.

Good morning, all. I've been at the computer most of the morning. After lunch I'll try to photograph the back side of the house Kanthima is building.  Hopefully the construction workers replacing the gas station next door with a condo building will cooperate if I ask nicely.  Then Town Meeting tonight.  I don't officially join the Board till the first meeting after the election, but I'll speak for several warrant articles tonight.

I dug around for an RJ-45 crimper to loan to Dave, but it's somewhere else in the tool cloud - all three of my kids live in the area.   What he ordered will arrive before mine returns. RR-Line's Louis was notably helpful, responding to questions with diagrams, article references etc. I recall him as a member of the NMRA Little Rhody Div. I thought I'd exchanged emails with him but haven't found any yet.
