Looking forward to your build, as always.
Nice looking structure for a rural setting.....I'll be watching Karl.
So many great little Fos and Bar Mills structures, so little real estate!
Looking forward to any of your builds...John
I'll be watching. Jim

Hi Tom:

Karl
Hey Karl, nice kit and looking forward to seeing what you do with it ...
BTW, do you happen to know or was it referenced in the kit anywhere, what Doug used for his tractor (I know it does not come with the kit) but looking for HO scale tractors ... Any ideas ??
Thanks in advance !!

Hi Paul:
I don't believe it was mentioned. I will check and get back to you later OK.

Paul, Ertl came out with a few different tractors about 15 years ago that were H.O. scale but the details were heavy and thick. This tractor looks to be one of these. GHQ makes a few different tractors of the Farmall,John Deere and Ford varieties. The also do a bunch of farming attachments like wagons, plows, balers and a spreader. Raymo
And I forgot to mention Karl, I'll be watching too. Raymo ;D

Thanks Dan, appreciate the insight. Had not heard of GHQ before but just checked out their site, and decided to give a couple of them a go .... If I need any insight I sure know who I can contact if needed ....
Thanks again, and Karl my apologies for the interruption to your build thread, carry on ....

Raymo & Paul:
Thanks for the input and I forgot to check the instructions to see if anything is mentioned about the tractor. I will check today.
Karl
Karl,
I'll be watching, too. Since I live on a small farm, I can really relate to this kit.
Paul,
The tractor is an Ertl 1/64 scale model of what appears to be a Farmall Cub. These were available at Tractor Supply (My TSC Store), though I could not find one on their website. I found one on Amazon. Here is the link.

Hi Jerry:
Glad to have you aboard.
Karl
Hi All:
Main building walls are painted and signs are attached. Here's a photo. Still have to add window shades.
Karl
Hi All:
main walls are assembled. Here's photos.
Karl
Karl
This is coming along real nice.
Lookin' good!
Slight hijack here, Karl. Did you build Doug's Ravenwood Leather Products background kit? If so, got any pix you'd care to share? It's up next after I finish Mitchell and Godfrey andI like to have reference pix on hand (like the ones George provides in his kits) but I'm not finding any other than on the Fos website. Thanks!
Hi john:
Thanks appreciate it.
Karl
Hi Dave K:
Thanks. Yes I built Ravenwood as Zannuck Seafood.
Karl
Hi All:
As you can see in my last photos I had the main structure walls assembled. I sat down yesterday afternoon for about 10 hours and got a little bit of work done.
Here's a few photos.
Karl
Nice...now THAT'S how to spend a Sunday!
Hi Dave:
You got that right.

Looks great Karl
10 hours at the bench sounds great! Amazing what you can get done with a nice block of time.
Looking good Karl..... 8)
Hi John:
Thanks appreciate it. Watch TV & work during the commercials. You get a lot done.
Karl
Hi Greg:
Thanks appreciate the comment.
Karl
Another great build Karl. I like the color combinations.
Hi Mark:

Karl
Hi All:
It is finished. Here's the final photos.
Karl
Here's another:
Hi Guys:
Look Frank's on his tractor waiting to go to the farm.
Karl
Nice structure build, Karl. I like the signs and color scheme. I may have to find a spot for this one on my layout.
Jeff
Fantastic! Love the finishes on the walls and the castings. Particularly, the weathering on the paint and the coloring on the vents. Really great! Real nice little kit to by Fos. Karl and Doug are very consistent in their respective excellence.
John
Great finish Karl.....it really came together!
Ditto what everyone else has said. Well done as usual Karl. Doug has yet another winner in this one. He's cranking out more hits than the Beatles did. :D
Karl,
Let me be the one with the broken record. "Ditto" to all the dittos. Very well done indeed.
Tom ;D
Well done, Karl.
hi Jeff:
Glad you liked it. Thanks.
Karl
Hi John:
Thanks appreciate you comments.
Karl.
Hi Greg.
Thanks. Yeah I really enjoyed this one.
Karl
Hi Bob:
You are right on. I told Dolug years ago he was the next George Sellios. His sense of design is awesome. I don't know how he keeps coming with new models as often as he does.
Karl
Hi Tom:
Thanks appreciate your comments as always.
Karl
Hi Dave:
Thanks appreciate your comment.
