Morning all.
Beautiful couple of days here, supposed to break 70 degrees again today. Wife's recover from her total knee replacement has been slower than the first, but we're making progress. My granddaughter had open heart valve surgery earlier this week and she's doing well, too.
I've not made much progress on anything train related, but it's been a busy time here.

Good Morning
Wow a full plate Jeff. Sending a get well to your family!
Planting seed today in the garden with the wife this am. Have a great day!

Grey and warm, 60s!! in Michigan this morning :D , it cleared off and made it to 70 yesterday, sat in the sun a little bit for, hopefully, a little color. Rain and storms are a possibility today and more so tomorrow with a sudden drop again by Monday.
My SPARTANS woke up late and moved along in the hoops tourney ;D , the A2 crew faltered ;) .
Slow start this morning, several different directions it could go. I know I have a set of curtain rods to hang. :-[
All the best to you and the family, Jeff
Be well all.

Weather was really nice yesterday. We're paying for it today. Snow, sleet, freezing rain, cold rain, lather, rinse, repeat today and tomorrow. Right now (09:14 EDT) it's snowing. Scotch Club for this afternoon is doubtful.
More work on the Lamson scenery. I've been experimenting with dry wallboard mud and colored (concrete dye/pigments) water to mix in. The idea is to cover the white plaster with something relatively hard that is pre-colored, even if the color isn't what I really want. But of course, it's a messy process...
One house we lived in was a continual set of projects. I went to hang a shower curtain rod, only to discover the wallboard behind it had rotted out. So that meant cutting out the bad wallboard, adding a patch with wood behind to hold the shower curtain, remudding, repainting, and a week later I could install the shower curtain...
Best to Dr Jeff's family of patients!

Good morning, Jeff, Philip, Karl, Dave and later arrivals. The lower Merrimack Valley (NH & MA) is overcast and 40-ish with rain earlier and forecast off and on into Monday. We didn't go out to the Boat Club last night because my old friend was down with a stomach bug.
The one building that collapsed in Bangkok was being built by an Italian and Chinese consortium. There had been delays and design changes. Not yet clear whether the as-built structure didn't meet the building code, or whether the parts providing quake resistance hadn't been installed yet.
I need to fix my seeder and make a pass over last Fall's excavated area with clover, but then up to the layout.
Mornin,' All!
37, feels like 32 and headed all the way to 39 under the leaking grey blanket here in the northern mitten. Was pouring buckets a little while ago, and now, for the next few minutes, it's only dripping. Off and on all day, apparently.
Good day to stay downstairs fixing stuff on the railroad for Wednesday night's Op Session in the rain and snow that's forecast.... Bleah! Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Morning all.....
Good Morning Folks;
Jeff sounds like you have your hands full, prayers for all, especially the grandchild. My wife had knee replacement about a year ago and is still having issues. She is very active (is in a dragon racing boat competition today) and works out so she is not happy. Apparently people heal at different rates for this surgery. Plus I think the doctor has a lot to do with outcome.
I came across an interesting photo on the facebook group 'You Know You Are From Scottsville if:'. I'm part of the group since that is where I grew up. It shows the last passenger train to stop at Scottsville (heading to Buffalo) in 1953. I've added a photo of the station which still stands in Scottsville to this day.
