We might actually get near 800 sometime today. A first for 2025 in our area. Sunshine 8) and calm a pleasant promise.
This is the first day of the local Vermontville, MI, MAPLE SYRUP Festival. I can only imagine the strange creatures :o that will crawl out of their hiding places this weekend. Saw one last evening with earlobes stretched near the size of $.50 pieces and more ink than the Daily News! Pancakes and sausage with fresh amber nectar will be on the menu for the weekend.
I'll be off with the Doll checking garage sales this morning.
Have a fine day all. Be safe!
KS
Good Morning Folks;
KS enjoy that garage sale crawl. It is amazing what you sometimes find. I will be hanging around the house today. We are expecting the pool inspector for final inspection plus we have a handyman coming to seal the pool deck pavers. I have been detailing layout and the flour mill project, think I will just continue those projects.
Have a great day folks.
Jim
Sunny, warm at 56 heading to 67. Chance of rain later tonight, and that's OK. More work on the Lamson warehouse today.

Jerry
Good morning Karl, Jim, Dave, Jerry and later arrivals. Our wheat field is planted. I worked at Seashore the last two days, now the RR is ready for the Annual Meeting Saturday. And I need to spend time on the layout so it'll be ready for my Hub High Green operating sessions. I'll do so after a glance around the Forum.
Mornin,' All!
It's 52, feels like 48, and headed maybe as far as 60 today under the grey blanket in the northern mitten. Nice Op Session last night has me motivated, and the guys loading the dumpster next door are driving me nuts, so it's probably time to head down and work on the railroad.
Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Morning!
Gotta venture off the mountain today to forage for rattle can primer. I have been getting good results with Chalk White as it creates a great surface for acrylics to attach to and thin enough coats to not obscure any details.
Detail of the day...
Afternoon all.....
Afternoon all,
Nice tip on the chalk white rattle cans, Darryl. I'll have to give it a try.
Have a great one!
I've been using Tamiya White Primer in the can, but it's a bit pricey. But, it is really fine textured. Your surface really has to be right.
I'm more limited by weather as I can't spray inside due to the odor isn't well tolerated >:(
