Title: WW2 damaged buildings
Post by: A Man in scale on April 30, 2025, 03:37:18 PM
These are the two houses i am curently making for my ww2 diorama.
The lower house is a extension of the taller building. I tried to make the house look damaged and prenetrated by bullets. Not shure how that went?

Even in 2000 when we visited Berlin, you could see bullet marks and battle damage on buildings near the Museum Island.

Looks like you're aiming to represent plaster or stucco over stone blocks. Bullets alone don't usually penetrate that, but they blow circular craters in the plaster/stucco. Try resting a sharp punch on the surface and tapping it till you have a crater that looks like the pictures you're working from?
