Morning all.
I have an appointment with my primary care this morning, otherwise an unplanned day.
Jeff
Happy Friday. Cloudy and chilly today. Rain last night, more coming tonight, but should stop in time for neighborhood Scotch Club tomorrow.
Yesterday I did a lot of pick-up/put-away and reorganizing work surfaces. I can actually see -all 3- workbenches (main area, assembly table, electronics station). As we all know, mess accumulates on any flat surface, and I've been working pretty steady on a couple of projects this year. I still have some more pick-up to do, before deciding what to tackle next.

Bright 8) clear sky and cool, 420 in the North. The lake is calm. Little to report.
Be well everyone.

Good morning, Jeff, Dave and crew. It rained last night and more is forecast today, so I'm planning indoor activities. Dave has inspired me to look at my cluttered flat surfaces today.

Morning! My whole world is cluttered. I may never get organized! Please tell me why I need 8 exacto knifes? :o
Have a great day!
Good morning everyone.
Supposed to be sunny and low 70's in Eugene today.
The gym and maybe a haircut are planned today.
Have a great day everyone.

Between my wife (a retired graphic artist) and I, we probably have 2 dozen X-Acto knives spread around the house, I have -6- in a rack on my workbench. Two hold #11 blades, and I rotate between those, one with the 'brand new blade' and the other with 'not quite as sharp.' The other handles hold different X-Acto blades, including the chisel, the offset, the rounded, and the fine tooth saw. And then I have a couple that float around the layout and in various toolboxes.
We keep an X-Acto blade with the dog food, to cut their pills (one pill we have to cut into quarters...) I have one by my computer that I use to open packages (particularly CDs to remove the plastic wrap, I still buy CDs...) So yeah,
You Can't Have Too Many X-Acto Knives. ;Ddave
Good morning, Jeff, Dave, Karl, George and crew. I started yesterday fighting with an operating system update that doesn't understand my old laptop's video controller. Which led to finding out another operating system upgrade had left my main computer without DVD burning tools. But I had to update again before I could reload the DVD tools. Which led to a mistake which took the rest of the day to fix. So today begins by returning to fixing the laptop. :(
Morning, the riding mower is back from the shop so our son cut the first acre of grass yesterday. Two more acres to cut today before the rains come before dusk. Been dry here and highs near 80 this week. Property taxes are paid for the year. The candy shop had a visitor yesterday named Craig who lives in Wisconsin...told my spouse when a Rod Stewart song come in our store that he saw him at a hobby shop in Minnesota. Sandy got me out of the kitchen and yes he was a model railroader and now a new friend !!! Have to stay indoors tomorrow, smoke from Canada wild fires will be in the air...Tommy
Afternoon all,
Gotta check the mail. I'm waiting for a part that missing from the new kit I'm working on. Guess I'll hit the workbench and do what I can on that one.
Have a great one!
