Morning all.

Cloudy and cooler here today with a high of 65 degrees.

Need a touch of weathering on the roof of the FSM kit, on the to do list today.  Feel like running a train on the pike as well.

Morning all,

The train brain is running hard this morning after an "epiphone" yesterday...I've decided that my true love is still N scale and I decided to revisit the huge scenery to train ratio that I fell for as far back as High School. Visions of tiny trains snaking through deep canyons and making dramatic scenery in my relatively small space...my benchwork is still just a basic shell, so that's not a factor.

I've got so many beautiful built-up and not built-up craftsman structures (not to mention trains in HOn3 and HOn30) that I'm now wavering between my next move.

There's a "YOLO" factor in just following my heart and, after all, it's a hobby and I'm still a spry 57 year old vs. "Are you nuts?" pragmatism which makes me want to shake it off....decisions to be made ASAP.

If nothing else, it feels invigorating to be so mentally immersed in the hobby...I've definitely had a hard time getting the juices flowing. I suppose if I can just hold out until the June 7 SBG (local gang) meet up, maybe my mentors can slap the s**t out of me and get me back on track  ;D

Good morning everyone.

Rain is predicted today here in my area of Oregon.

If it doesn't rain this morning Star and I will do a hike.
If it does rain I'll work on the video I shot yesterday on the hike I did alone.

Have a great day everyone.

Yesterday's sun and 850 is gone. We are now in post tornadic 500 and clouds, threat of rain and overcast  :(   There was considerable damage but no injuries that I heard of in the area.

Been swinging at curve balls in life this week.  ;)

Time to move along. Be well all

Good afternoon.  We're still at the Outer Banks, going home tomorrow.  I'm not a big beach person, so I drove up to Virginia Beach for a Tidewater Division meeting this morning. One of the members gave an interesting clinic on how he does things at his workbench and I picked up a coupe of good ideas.  Who said you can't teach old dogs new tricks?

Afternoon all,

Ran down to Tom's this morning for a mini SBG session given I won't be able to attend the next formal session.  That one happens to be on the day my better half and I leave for our river cruise on the Rhine.  For some reason she wasn't comfortable with the idea of me running down to Tom's the morning of our departure and getting home in time to head for the airport.  ::)

Still painting detail parts for the Frank Lava Gunsmith build.  Painting details takes a few workbench sessions for sure.

Have a great one!

Good evening, all.  Since Dave didn't do the Northern New England weather, I will: cloudy, damp, 50s F this morning, turned into drizzle after I'd gotten to Kennebunkport, ME. But then driving back to the lower Merrimack Valley for a wake this afternoon, the clouds dispersed, the sun came out and temperatures reached 70F. Still, I'd rather not have had reason to attend the wake.

I'm working on email and paperwork, model work may happen tomorrow.

Cool details Darryl.

Might as well add a KY license plate to the wall. :)
