Title: Wednesday the 18th
Post by: cuse on June 18, 2025, 06:49:27 AM
I don't check in as often as I used to (and will again) so it is my esteemed honor to open.

Get your own breakfast. I'm intermittent fasting.

Welcome Home Bob...can't wait to hear about your trip. I'm off to ride the Glacier Express and all of the other Swiss trains in 3 weeks.

I've got all kinds of model projects going but keep getting pulled away...I'd really like to get a nice trackplan together to show you all what I'm working on...someday soon.

Happy Hump day!

John

Rain currently in Michigan with some severe stuff forecast for later in the day.  It feels like an indoor day for sure.  :o It's warmer than it's been and quite dry until today.  We 'need' the rain.

I'11 take it light on the breakfast.  Not quite in for that yet.

Everyone enjoy the day.  Sounds likes lots of traveling going on.  We're headed to our place in the UP by the end of the month.

Morning all,

It will be in the 70s here today and possible rain later.  A trip to the bank and the drug store are on tap for today, but nothing else.  Maybe I'll get back to the FSM kit, or just have a lazy hump day.

Showers last night, now cloudy and humid.  Temps are starting to build, we'll be at Florida Spring tomorrow and Florida Summer next week..  Ugh!

I'm presume Bob will check in as he starts to recover from jetlag.

Today is our monthly "Lunch Bunch" group lunch.  Then back to planning and understanding machine shop tool layouts.  I've getting some good help and photos from the antique tools section of a machinist forum.

Good morning all.  We're in Myrtle Beach where the temps will be in the upper 80s. I'm heading home Friday.  Till then, some good eating and enjoying the view of the beach from our air conditioned house.

Good morning, all. Dave describes my weather too.  Looks like today will be mostly or entirely computer stuff. I hope I can get through the sysadmin part and on to the actual presentation in daylight...

Afternoon all,

Yep, we made it back home around 2:30 this morning. I did the yard work, the better half the laundry/unpacking and then a grocery store trip. I'm pretty wiped though. It'll be an early to bed night tonight for sure. We had a great trip and saw a lot of beautiful things (structures, countryside, etc.). We also met a lot of people on the tour and had a fun time chatting with them.  Most were from the US but we also ran into some from New Zealand and Australia. It was a lot of fun all in all.

Have a great one!
