Title: FRYday, first day of Summer!
Post by: KentuckySouthern on June 20, 2025, 10:02:09 AM
This is the first day of summer, a fine breakfast buffet is out on the deck, fruits and juices as well as coffee and tea, hot and cold.

Today is the longest day, I love having it light in the evening until nearly bed time.   8)  It is sunny here today and the threat of high heat is moving in for the next several days, 90s ranging to nearly the Century mark... :P  :o

Doing the best to stay cool here, bench time if I'm lucky.

Everyone have a fine day, stay cool and enjoy summer.

Go to the beach?, the water is too cold the weather folks say, only ~600 not good for people.

Best to all

Morning all,

Glad to hear Bob made it back from his trip OK and good to hear from Dan yesterday.

Here it's raining and headed into the 90s for a few days.

I need to go to the grocery store sometime today, probably after the storms clear out by noonish.

Only a three day weekend for me as I have to work Monday, which is unusual as I usually only work Tues/Thurs.  But I'll have a five day weekend next week.   :D

A quick break from the weather today.  Low 70s, sunny, windy.  Back to hot weather Monday...

Our dogs had their annual vet visit, and one did not do well, maybe a reaction to the shots?  He got an upset tummy and the runs, so I had to take him out a couple of times overnight.  I think he's getting better, but this is our high energy dog, so it's upsetting to see him subdued and not eating.

In a bit I'll head downstairs and ponder machine shop layout...  There's a local NMRA meet tomorrow that I was planning to attend, but with a sick dog, I'll stay home.   Bummer.

Afternoon all,

I meant to hit the workbench this afternoon but a nap feels like a better option. Guess I haven't fully returned to this time zone.

Have a great one!
