Title: Sunday, lots of sun
Post by: KentuckySouthern on June 22, 2025, 09:09:33 AM
Blistering hot and humid in the mitten state as we plunge into another day in the 90s.

Eggs fried on the pavement  :o and grits, OJ, soda pop, and Cheerios with milk. The pot has a batch of Mackinaw Island Fudge coffee. Fresh cut melon, berries and sweetened and unsweetened tea. New item on the condiment tray this morning, not for me :P

A laid back day here is planned. Stir weary from yesterday.

What's up in your neck of the woods?

Good MorningFolks;

Hot in Florida also, and I too am not a ketchup person, not sure why. While the world figures out what happens next I think I will hit the pool and perhaps break out a new kit to start making for the layout. Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone.

If you all are too hot, come up to Idaho where it will be in the low 60's today.

Karl, thanks for the second cup and ketchup on eggs is a BIG NO for me.

Heading a little further north today to be closer to a trail I want to hike on Tuesday.

Have a great day everyone.

Ugh!  Why does Heinz mess with perfection?  HJ is probably spinning in his grave...

We're into the hot and humid streak for at least 6 days.  I got the dogs out just before it rained.  When wife comes down, I'll do scrambled eggs, no ketchup.  But I've been known to add salsa to scrambled eggs...

Morning all.

Already "feels like" 93 here and headed up.  I'm skipping the walk today, did 3.5 miles yesterday in the moderate heat, mowed later in the brutal heat.  My legs are a little sore today and I work tomorrow, a rare Monday for me, so I need to be in tip top (for me) shape.

Will continue the work on the railings of the FSM kit.

Adding another ketchup product will increase their shelf exposure at the store, that's why they keep coming up with "same products, different use/label".

Good morning, all. Looking at the Forum after finishing my Selectmen's Minutes: our former Secretary and her partner's house sold quite quickly, so I'm filling in. Hope someone else wants the modest compensation soon...

Our windows were closed a while ago, keeping the overnight 70F inside.  Cool nights are forecast even with Tuesday's 100F high, so correct operation of the house will keep it comfortable.  I've read about as much news as I can stand, so either a nap or continued signal construction comes next.

Good afternoon.  It's in the 90's here and our 27 year old a/c isn't working.  I had a friend add more R-22 Freon, but it's not working.  Must be a leak and time for a new unit.  We have fans blowing and it's bearable.

Afternoon all,

I'm getting my Father's Day dinner tonight. We were out of town last weekend (not that I'm complaining) so tonight is the make-up night.  ;)

Haven't had much motivation to get back at the workbench yet. The mood has yet to strike!

Have a great one!
