Good morning everyone from the feed block, Bucky sssys he'll share!

Headed out to OPS today at Keeney's Nashville Rd. Back to normal after many from our area worked the NMRA week in July.

Hot and a bit humid here with little rain forecast. It's dusty dry.

Enjoy the day all.

Good morning.  That's a friendly looking critter, Karl.  We haven't seen any deer around here lately, but when they do come around, they're only does.

We're still clearing out old stuff around the house.  I have to make another trip to the dump this morning.  Maybe some bench time this afternoon.

Great photo, Karl!

Some of you might have noticed we got a spammer this morning.  (Sorry about that, a mis-communication among the moderators/administrators).  But what's funny about this guy was he was offering bail bond and private investigation services for Florida.  I figure he got here by reading The Judge's Tahope stories  ;D

Next couple of days could be our hottest this year, but that comes on last week's perfect weather.  We had Scotch Club both Saturday and Sunday nights.

For some reason, I never really grokked basic electronics, despite trying to read Horowitz & Hill (The book written for MIT students to teach them how to build circuits) several times.  So I appreciate the help I'm getting from James and Bernd working through the lighting for the machine shop.  Yesterday I did some detail part painting.

Morning crew. Going to be a hot one at Northern Command.

Our place is 8 years old, and we have to have the roof replaced on the manufactured home. Having a steel roof put on by the Amish.

You're welcome, Dave. James has given you more info. Saw that this morning. Good luck.

Morning all,

Back from the neurosurgeon.  I don't need to return unless there are problems.   8)  Picked some figures to add to the FSM build as I continue to slowly paint the details.

Starting planning for the Narrow Gauge convention in three weeks, and need to set up a trip for Continuing Education in October.

Might mow later, but it's soaked from all the rain over the last two days.

Another late check in for myself. Was another hot day here in Florida but I was able to get some paperwork caught up. Hope to get some benchwork in this evening.

I saw we have a spammer slip through the cracks this morning so I will work with Craig and Dave to get him out.

I got a merit award in the mail today for Pam's Flour Mill I made. That makes 3 scratch builds for the AP Structures award in NMRA. I hope to take three kitbashed structures to the Sunshine Region convention to make some real headway on this project. I might get everything done by end of next year at speed I work at so not rushing. Just something to aim for. Hope everyone had a good day.

Evening all,

Not much to add to the conversation. Jim covered the weather here. Maybe a little workbench time after supper.

Have a great one!
