Saturday 10-11-25 if anyone cares?
It's Saturday again, no one seems to be posting the mornings much. Here we have chilly "football weather" and folks are setting up their tailgate for pregame parties. My Michigan State Spartans are playing UCLA, new member of the West Coast Invaders to the Big 10 (14? now?) and it will be a nice enough day. It's on a TV station, Big10 Network, I don't have and they've played poorly enough to not make much effort to find it. We stayed up WAY too late to watch the only baseball seen here in years, just to see Detroit Tigers go 15 innings to head to the golf course. ::) What a slow game...
Plenty of home things to do. Beer and chips on table, brats and hot dogs on the charcoal and diets of most varieties on the sody-pop table in ice. After hearing the results of today's game in E. Lansing, I'd imagine some folks losing their pre-game lunch on the way out, watch where you step.:o

It was a strange week. Thursday felt like Friday. Yesterday felt like "second Thursday". Today does feel like Saturday, mostly because I have to take the laundry out of the washer and put it into the drier.
Today's weather is nice, sunny and seasonal temps. Tomorrow will be similar but with rain starting in the evening. They're predicting a Nor'Easter for Monday, lots of rain and wind. That's OK, we badly need the rain. And I don't have anywhere to go Monday. (Dr Appt and PT on Tuesday, though, through the tail of that storm.)

Good morning, Karl, Dave and later arrivals. I'll put more pawpaws in the bowl on the counter, though my harvest is tapering off and may be done by the middle of next week.
After I've seen this morning's version of the Internet, I'm starting to put storm windows on the house. After lunch visiting a friend south of the Merrimack to run trains. Closing with taking my wife to a dinner party with old friends from MIT's Tech Model RR Club.

I made the trek down to the A&S this morning. Cecil B. DeMille was busy working on some new videos. ;D
Tonight is game night with friends. I hope to get back to the workbench tomorrow but tomorrow evening's entertainment will be a late night airport pickup. :P

I've got a handful, the squirrels have been finding them as soon as the burr starts to open.
