Morning all,
Headed to 82 degrees here today. Rain tonight.
Slept late after my first work day in two weeks. Hopefully some train time today.

Morning all.....
Nice picture, Dr Jeff...
I installed the LEDs on the 2nd story of the machine shop yesterday. Today I'll double check that installation and test once more, then get to work finishing that interior.

Good Morning Folks;
I've had my second cup of coffee while sitting on the back porch enjoying the cool morning. Today high expected to be around 83 and sunny so all in all a great start to another weekend. Yesterday I finished up the detailing of the Cundy Hotel and it now sits waiting to be planted. First I need to figure out exactly how I want the canal to exit through the back of layout and make sure I have enough room for two draw bridges that will be crossing the canal., so next week will be fiddling with the layout scene. Today I have the modeling group over for our two week get together so that takes up train time and this weekend I am just going to enjoy the weather and watch some football.
I think I have mentioned before that the Miami-Erie canal I am modeling (1912) went through some of the oil fields in ohio at that time. I came across this photo showing a drilling rig right next to canal. Pretty interesting, by 1922 the oil rigs were almost all gone, moving down to TX and OK.
Have a great day.

Morning Jim and all who follow,
I just finished fussing with setting up a new WI-FI router. I'm getting too old for this stuff. I got it though. I had the usual hassles with logging into the app. At first, I got in no problem on my tablet. Great I thought. Then I went to set up the new router, and the app told me it needed to do an update. I updated the app and it logged me out. >:( From there it was the usual hassle of guessing what the password was, password resets, waiting for e-mails, etc.
Last night I squeezed in some workbench time and hope for more of the same this afternoon.
Have a great one!

Tried to see Northern Lights but just a couple clouds here last night.
1:1 soon as I'm done.
Be well all.

That looks like the same era as the Stony Creek oil derrick that's the topic of a build thread (that I can't find right now) by FriscoMike. If anyone is interested in modeling this in HO scale, let me know.
