Morning all,
Not much on the agenda today so perhaps some workbench time. ;)

Have a great one!
I've put away the laundry (ugh), and with Saturday morning chores done, will head down to the train room. Wife is off for coffee with friends from her exercise club. She usually brings me a muffin. So I'm OK with that.

Saturday was off to an early start, 2 Rx and trip to Lowe's and Menards for supplies.
Now I may mow as the brief rain passed on to the NE
Football tv unable to get Peacock. Don't care.

Good evening (in the GMT +1 timezone), all. Today we only went to a couple of nearby towns to see the "West Route" railroad. It's the slower of two lines from Lisbon north to Coimbra. This part is single track with a passing siding and two platforms at each station we visited. 25 kV overhead wire is in place, but the train we saw I can only describe as the propulsion parts of a Budd RDC distributed across a married pair of carbodies. Photo when I can pry one out of my phone. This line is broad gauge, interoperable with but not exactly matching the Spanish gauge.
Portugal has broad, standard and three narrow gauges. Here's a starting point but I haven't found a map: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iberian-gauge_railways
