This is a holy day in Michigan. Day one of the firearms deer season.

That guy was sniffing around all night... about 0600 this little girl was all tired out

So far this morning we've not heard any shots. There won't be any from me.

Football day for many. Enjoy your team. Mine sucks, just got a bunch of forfeits from the last jackass coach's (phone sex Mel) tenure plus a probation for a couple years.  He still wants $90Mil for being fired.

Cleaned out leaves yesterday. It was 60.

Whatcha up ta?

KS

Be well all!

Afternoon all,

Hoping to squeeze in a little workbench time after we hit the grocery store and before we head out to our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight.

Have a great one!

Good afternoon, Karl, Bob and those who look in later in the day.  Sunny and 40s on the Maine coast.  Rain in the forecast tonight.

Trolley Museum trustees' meeting just ended, but I'm hanging around to meet/greet potential volunteers to work on 1:1 track. Tough proposition for people old enough to join our normal Mon/Tue work cycle (track work options are limited when we're hauling passengers on it).  I need to get in gear on my B&M Eastern Route, two weeks to Tour de Chooch.

Good evening all!

The sun just slipped below the western horizon here in the northern mitten, the grey blanket has come off, the wind has died down considerably and Opening Day appears to be ending in Peace.  One division member sent me a couple of photos to explain his absence at the Division meeting... 145 lb, 8 point buck that will feed him and his family for a while....

Railroad time here is still governed by Hip Issues, but the x-ray has been taken and the medicos will let me know....  Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!
